Excellent Generator, May 24, 2008

I had not previously heard of this brand, but Amazon’s great price made it hard to pass up. I purchased this generator for home emergency purposes. I Ordered it on Sunday night and received it on the following Thursday. There was no visual damage to the box that would indicate rough handling by the shipper. However, upon removing the generator from the box there was minor damage to a couple of items (nothing that would prevent operation). I called the manufacturer and the representative politely agreed to replace the items.

The generator does not come with a battery for the electric starter. The manufacturer’s representative stated that it required an Everstart ES12N94B1 battery, which I found at Wal-mart. After adding oil and a little gas the generator started right up with only three easy pulls (I had not installed the battery at that point). The generator started so easy, in fact, that I am considering taking the battery back and not using the electric starter. This generator appears to be of good quality and at this point I am completely satisfied with the product.
